PLASTICS MYANMAR HIGHLIGHTS – 2015

Plastics Myanmar 1st edition was held in April 2015, at TATMADAW HALL, Yangon – it was a humble beginning with 60+ exhibitors participating, Co-Organised by Myanmar Plastics Industry Association (MPIA) and Supported by Myanmar Industry Association (MIA).

60+ Exhibitors from different countries, including Myanmar, India, China, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Italy etc. participated with Live Demo of Machinery, Material and Technology.

OPENING CEREMONY: The event was inaugurated by
• H.E. Gautam MUkhopadhaya Ambassador, Indian Embassy, Myanmar (right)
• U Zaw Win Min, Chairman, MIA (center)
• U Tun, Chairman, MPIA (left)

INTERACTION WITH AMBASSADOR
The Ambassador spent an hour long interaction with the exhibitors and answered ailiheir queries regarding the business potential in Myanmar.

VISIT BY IHC COUNSELLOR
Dr. S Janakiraman, Counsellor (Economic & Commerce), The Indian Embassy also had an interactive session with Ihe exhibitors.

EXHIBITORS MET WITH MIA
An interactive session was organized with Myanmar Industries Association to get insights into market opportunities. MIA also facilitated networking and 828 meetings with local manufacturers for select exhibitors.

EXHIBITORS MET WITH MPIA
The organizers also scheduled an interactive session with the Myanmar Plastics Industry Association learn for the exhibitors to clarify their queries regarding the market potential in plastics and packaging sectors of Myanmar.

OTHER ARRANGEMENTS
Keeping in mind the comfort and care of the exhibitors. the organizers look additional initiatives thai included a Business Lounge. A touch of personal care was also ensured with regard 10 other facilities for the exhibitors.

                                          Organizers also organized Interactive sessions for the Exhibitors with the Ambassador of Consulate of India, Myanmar, MIA team                                                  and MPIA team to help the exhibitors clarify their queries about the business potential in Myanmar.
