The objective is to promote activities efficiently and effectively with the support of the Government and private agencies. It is a self-funded, non-profit making organization and truly private independent body representing the entire scope of trade, services and industries in Myanmar. MIA Provides services & information on Government trade policies, directives, import-export procedures, tax structure, tariff_ rates, procedures and incentives for investment in the manufacturing sector.

PLASTICS EXPORT PROMOTION COUNCIL The Ministry of Industry and Trade is the government responsible for the advancement, promotion, governance, regulation, management and growth of industry and trade. The former Ministry of Trade has its origins in 1945 with the formation of the modern National Unification Cabinet, and became a ministry in its own right in 1955.The Ministry of Trade merged with the Ministry of Industry in 2007 to form the Ministry of Industry and trade. The current Minister of Industry and Trade is Vu Huy Hoang. Ministry main offices are located in Hanoi.

NATIONAL SMALL INDUSTRIES CORPORATION LIMITED (NSIC) 
is a PSU established by the Government of India in 1955. It falls under Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises of India.

National Small Industries Corporation Ltd. (NSIC), is an ISO 9001-2008 certified Government of India Enterprise under Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME).

NSIC operates through countrywide network of offices and Technical Centres in the Country. To manage operations in African countries, NSIC operates from its office in Johannesburg, South Africa. In addition, NSIC has set up Training cum Incubation Centre & with a large professional manpower, NSIC provides a package of services as per the needs of MSME sector.
